After an incredible 27 years of bringing smiles, sweetness, and warmth to Pontypridd Market, Kathy of Sweet Memories Ponty and her husband Simon of Inter Books are moving on to their next big adventure!
If you’ve ever stopped by Sweet Memories Ponty, you know Kathy as a familiar face who always greeted everyone with a beautiful smile and a warm welcome as she served up a colourful selection of traditional sweets and retro treats. Together with her husband Simon from Inter Books they have served as dedicated members of our Pontypridd Market Community, both will be dearly missed by stallholders and customers alike.
We want to take this opportunity to thank them both for being such an integral part of our market family for so many years.
We wish both Kathy and Simon the absolute best of health and happiness as they turn their faces to the sun and enjoy their new chapter together!
Both the sweet shop and the book shop are now under new ownership. We will be welcoming the new owners soon.
